Explore the use of elements from our natural landscape including, plants, feathers and river stones as a means of creating texture on clay. This experimentation is the basis for designing and creating a beautiful textured slab vase which we will then glaze in your choice of colour.

Artist Bio

Pinky Wittingstow is a local mixed media artist, specialising in natural materials such as clay, wood, natural fibre textiles and dyes and is passionate about sharing her love of fine arts and our local environment.  Having taught in Creative Industries at GOTAFE and is presently freelance teaching.

Pinky has run creative workshops for community groups focusing on sustainability at Charles Sturt University, The Sustainability Centre, Albury, Off Grid Living Festival, school groups and Birallee Neighbourhood House. She is one of the passionate teachers at Made in Clay, Wangaratta, injecting fun and intrigue into her classes.
