Bullawah Trail Performance at The Elders Rock

Marisa Quigley, Racheal Butler & children from Wangaratta’s Chisholm Street School recently composed and performed their song ‘Bullawah Trail’ at The Elders Rock for GANEAA’s official opening of the Giant Rainbow Serpent Ground Drawing. The students worked with Marisa & Racheal to write this wonderful song based on the Dreamtime Stories from Uncle Freddie Dowling’s book Granpa Milawa Stories. It’s a ripper & we hope they record it! Many members attended the Across the Arts Forum in May, so we’d like to know if you have continued on with some art making or associated ideas from what you learnt there? The ART Dreaming Exhibition is being held at Wangaratta Art Gallery 2 from September 19 until October 18 2015. The opening is on Friday September 18 at 5.30pm, all welcome!
