In my session, I will present ways for artists and designers to capture and showcase their work in a digital format; workshop ways to better connect, network, and promote through social media platforms. We will explore ways to better digitize art and design works for every use, such as email and producing PDF files. We will spend some time focussing on developing an artist statement or elevator pitch and CVs. This is a chance for practicing creatives to stop, reflect, and review their body of work and for those emerging to consider ways to promote and become confident in showcasing their work. I would encourage people to bring along any marketing or self-promotion items they already may have that could need a ‘refresh’ or peer review.
