Artist Bio
Rebecca Kos is an artist from the Southern Riverina. Her work reflects the rural location in which she lives. It champions the everyday and sees a seemingly banal world through different eyes. She uses photography, drawing and painting to find beauty in her surroundings and connect the dots between the natural and man-made world.
Her work is sometimes nostalgic, sometimes beautiful, sometimes strange and sometimes humorous.
She has a strong interest in houses, especially fibro cement sheet dwellings, which appear in many of her pieces.
