Have fun with ARIA award winning Mic Conway as he shows you, step by step how to easily MAKE and PLAY lots of fantastic musical instruments from around the house. From the rubber glove bassoon to gum leaf, drinking straw flute, tin can banjo and lot’s more- there’s loads of fun and then form a “junk band” with Mic at the end
Artist Bio:
Mic Conway is an innovative performer who has worked extensively in music, theatre, film, television and theatre-in-education both nationally and internationally.
Mic started in Captain Matchbox Whoopee band, co-founded Circus Oz and Mic Conway’s National Junk Band
Born into a family of vaudeville, theatre and opera performers Mic brings many skills to his shows including music, magic, tap dancing, juggling, fire eating and puppetry. Mic has a love of music made with “unmusical” instruments.
