Artist Bio:
June Brown became interested in patchwork and quilting during the early 1980s. June’s beginnings were with traditional designs but very soon she began changing these designs and developing her own ideas and style.
Inspirations for her designs nearly always come from Australian nature. The enjoyment of creating her own fabric has been a large part of her creativity. There are many techniques to experiment with. It is this range of possibilities which led her to the making of small Art Quilts.
June has attended many classes and has done some teaching in the Textile arena.
