Artist Bio

Jess lives in the King Valley with her young family and brings a love of making and growing things to daily life.  The ability to make from scratch, from reused and repurposed materials to minimise the miles things have travelled and the resources they have used is fundamental to her creative practice.  The joy of making it yourself!  Jess first learnt booking binding as a child in her parent’s studio and has since loved to explore and develop new ways to make books and present projects; learning further styles and techniques at bookbinding intensives whilst living in Brighton, UK and Ireland.
