Challenge yourself to take some risks and complete an oil painting in a day!
Experiment with applying paint thin, thick, scraping it off, turps it out, rubbing it back, applying again and push paint around. Participants will have fun responding to a constructed environment of curious objects.
Artist Bio:
Frank has painted for 30 years and developed workshops for MAMA, Shades of Art and Wodonga Art Space in drawing, painting and idea development, as well as extensive teaching experience. He has held 10 major exhibitions in various public and private galleries and art spaces, plus numerous group exhibitions. Frank won the King Valley Art Prize 2016, Trinity College Acquisitive Art Award 2015, Albury Art Prize 2006, Wangaratta Jazz Art Award 2002.
