Artist Bio:

Dianne Mangan studied ceramics at Caulfield Institute of Technology (now Monash University) from 1976 – 78 where she completed three years of intensive study in Ceramics – Art and Design. In the mid 1980s she completed a Post Graduate year in Fine Art – Ceramics at RMIT. She practiced ceramics as an art form from the mid 1970s until late 1996 when she embarked on and completed a Masters Degree in Art Administration and subsequently worked in the arts administration arena until mid 2016.

Re-embarking on her ceramics practice in late 2016 Dianne is exploring new clays, glazes and directions. The Across the Arts Forum provides Dianne with an opportunity to pass on pottery and ceramics techniques to others in a friendly and worthy local arts forum.  Dianne’s ceramic works are held in various public and private collections including Parliament House Canberra and Power House Museum, Sydney.
